I am 90% done with this new larger piece.

I often get to this moment and get a bit frozen. I know something is lacking but haven’t nailed it yet. My original plan was to add yellow-green french knots along the red “between” spaces. This would give it movement and satisfy a metaphorical sense of  “life/energy” flowing.

I also like the juxtaposition of a large cohesive composition AND smaller elements. So i may just have to spend some hours french knotting ( I actually find it meditative) and see if it works.
