Maine coastal rock inspirations

My husband and I just got back from a trip to the Maine coast around Acadia where we sea kayaked, and hiked. The patterns, textures and color variations in the low tide rocks were stunning.

This kind of visual stimulation feeds me. Direct representation of any of these images wouldn’t interest me but I trust the beautiful organic random lines and colors somehow percolate into my brain (sounds painful!) and will stir up ideas…
